I want to send a bike sold on the classifieds,
Who would you recommend from experience and what’s it likely to cost?
Needs to be insured and signed for.

DPD send a text and email to the recipient the day before delivery to allow them to say deliver it then, the following day or leave with a neighbour. Works a treat. Haven’t missed a delivery by them yet. Can’t say the same for anyone else. Was really disappointed when planet x/on-one stopped using them!

Senditnow (aka Parcelforce on the cheap) are good for taking bigger boxes.

Prices usually reasonable as long as it’s not a £3k bike.

I have taken deliveries from DPD and found them thorough and reliable, so I’ll definitely check them out.
