That’ll be bendy as whet spaghetti! I had some of those forks and they flexed like buggery!
    Nice though 🙂

Don’t think the XT rear mech is 92…93 or 94, but not 92. I’m sure the XT of them was more angled shapes and the XT was in gold, not white…

Does buggery involve a lot of flexing ? 😉

DB – This particular sale was mocked a few months ago on Retrobike for being mindbogglingly inaccurate. 🙂

A Hope hub with radial lacing?
    A cracking idea!

Hope used to make a front hub called the radial specially to be laced like that but if that’s one or not who knows
Over priced and not quite right anyway

The XT stuff is M737 which ran from 1994-96.

I just assume that any eBay fake with ‘rare’ in the title is actually complete junk. Is that not true?

No, it’s a nice bike for sure. At least it was in it’s day.

I agree i think its more like 1994. Its definitely a rare find though

No, it was a flexy useless piece of junk in its day.
Friend had a Verlicchi branded one of these in 1996, it was bloody awful.
Iirc it’s the same frame that Saracen had rebadged that Rob Warner didn’t want to ride when he was sponsored by them.

Who cares if it was good in 1994? I mean it’s obviously going to be rubbish by modern standards, so the only reason to buy it would be because of nostalgia / the artistry. That rear brake cable routing is cool.
