T2000 from Terminator 2
Behind Enemy Lines - the Serbian paramilitary with the Adidas trackie

Another vote for Don Logan and The Hitcher.
On the Shadow Line side of things I find Rafe Spall's character more of a joke than an actual bad guy. Overall I'm not impressed by the series thus far.
Candyman was a good one... Surprisingly complicated horror character, good dialogue, and also a mouth full of actual bees.

Torture you? Yeah - I hadn't thought of that. Good idea.
Rutger Hauer

+1 especially when the last episode showed him running - like a girl!
I like the series however.

gave me nightmares for ages!!
Frank from Once Upon a Time... is a great shout.
Steve Buscemi's character in Con Air, that is a creepy performance.

Once were Warriors...........Jake 'The Muss' Heke
Drunken wifebeater played in convincing style by Temuera Morrison.
