Surely you mean Druids? The stones at Stonehenge are where they’ve always been.
Avebury underwent a fair degree of reconstruction by Alexander Keiller in the 1930’s, removing a number of houses, restoring stones to their upright position from where they were buried, although he never finished it; one quadrant still has a bunch of stones buried which the powers-that-be won’t raise.
