    Hi chaps,

My white kit when it gets muddy never comes out white. My montane velo is proper brown .. any tips on how to get it back to white, instead of brownish?

    Cheers

replace it regularly or ride only when everywhere is dry.

I have white kit and have a similar problem, (road club colours but they look very cool!)

I use Vanish Oxy action stuff and leave it to soak before washing…

I had to wear white kit when I rode for Leisure Lakes last year. I found Glowhite, that you can find in Tesco & Sainsburys helped:

now there’s a collection of words that I didn’t ever expect to find together in a sentence in that particular order…

If you want to look clean.. buy brown

For white mtb parts (saddles atc) use cif cream cleaner, works a treat! Actually works on reviving anything really…..love the stuff!

Any clothes (white or otherwise), stick on a cold rinse in the machine before washing, you will find most mud stains will be gone even before the wash. Then a few squirts of stain remover on any left over stains and wash as normal.

    Hope that helps 🙂
