I’m surprised I can even type this (go me). So I go to the pub my cousin runs and they are serving 21 yr old, cask strength Macallan for £5 a house double. Apparently there was some kind of tax deal. The bottles have the pubs name on the label. Anyway, it was astonishly good and I am far more hammered than I planned to be tonight. Oh, and they only have a few more bottles for the pub so get here soon.

Okay, I’ve just googled it and it is as they said in pub, £120 a bottle. But £5 a house double. Unbelievable, un-not-indulgible. North norfolk if you fancy it. Also so surprisingly good trails. No, seriously.

Personalised label 21yo Macallan has no doubt come from Gordon Macphail’s in Elgin. A fiver a double is a proper bargain. They wouldn’t be making much on that at all.

At a fiver a double for that it’d have been a crime not to drink your fill!

Raises bleary-eyed head and mumbles ‘merry christmas’.
