Hi,

Getting back into XC racing after a few years and starting with the Gorrick XC Spring Series next week. What’s the tyre of choice for those trails around Bracknell / Surrey?

I currently have Maxxis Ikon’s but I suspect they might not be burly enough, especially at this time of year.

Yeah its not too bad in Crowthorne right now, you’ll skip about in places with Ikons, but will probably compensate on the faster bits.
