Fed up of scrapping around to find all my old tools, only to find most not in the best state.
I have one bike to strip down and rebuild and another to build from scratch, which tool kit out of each of these (seemingly pretty good deals) would you go for?

Or anyone know any better options?

The Icetoolz one is okay, few of the tools are made of cheese though, chainbreaker snapped into a few bits the first time I used it, but for the most part the tools are alright.

Ice Toolz one can be had for 32 quid.

It has worked fine for me so far.

It's not a Shimano toolkit, it's Shimano compatible toolkit.

I'd spend £20-25 on a truely good quality set of hex keys (Bondhus or, better yet, Wera) and then run over your bikes and determine precisely which other tools you'll need. Those kits contain average tools, many of which will be of absolutely no use to you.

yup we established that from the listing 😉 I think he wantes a quick buy it all kit which will last for the 2 builds rather than spending £100 + on decent kit ?If your care full it shuld last OK – I have always trashed stuff that I have not used properly i.e forcing – Keep things serviced propery and get a torque wrench and cheap tools (except really cheal allen keys) should last you quite a while IMHO 🙂

BTW I have had this hex set for over 2 years now and still as new 🙂

Cheers for your thoughts people, I have just ordered the xtools kit from crc: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=40997

Like foxy said, if this lasts for the two builds i'll be happy, at least i have decent standard tools for everything else, it seems like these deals are pretty good for bike specific tools, that wont be used to death, although i will see when it arrives!! 8)
