Need to purchase a 12 x 135 rear maxle.

I know there have been issues with the lite but crc show a new updated version. But I can get a good deal on the original non lite version around half price. So other than weight ? any advantages disadvantages between the two ?

Maybe didn’t make it quite clear I was meaning around half the price of a lite version. Anyway I found mine on ebay from a German supplier new delivered was 33 euros plus I had a £9.00 Ebay voucher to use up against it.
There are a few on ebay though if you want to look including a guy selling a used one. Might be some options for you there ?

There’s nothing wrong with the Lite but some hubs don’t like ’em, and I think that 240s are one of those. Mainly it’s Hope because of their terrible axle design. I’d go full fat were I you.
