currently using a hope vision 2 bar mounted and im looking at getting a helmet light to compliment this
trouble is i cant decide between a hope vision 1/ use spark ( normal batteries) or a joystick maxx2.(rechargeable)
i like the idea of having a helmet light that uses standard batteries as a back up and dont really want another rechargeable light with a different charger.
any users of the above lights offer any words of wisdom?

can't use the hope one helmet mounted – its massive and heavy. Buy the dx for £50

does the exposure joystick come wih a helmet mount in the box

Have you considered Fenix Torches JB? Good quality, excellent brightness / spot from 110 – 225 Ln (I got the TA21, but it's pretty heavy @ 200g wi' batteries). The 'lock-block' holder's good as a road-riding bar mount (wouldn't expect much of it off-road) + has with 2 handy velcro straps for fixing to the helmet.
