I know this crops up regularly, but here we go again. We're looking to buy a club GPS, but there's a bewildering array out there. What we need to factor in are:-

    1. It's main use will actually be for roadie trips rather than mountain biking. We want to be able to do road trips without having to stop at every junction to get a map out. It's not such a big issue for mountain biking as I'm a firm believer in old fashioned map and compass in the hills.

    2. It needs to work at street level (see above).

    3. It needs to attach to handlebars.

    4. It needs to work in Europe, or at least the Low Countries, France, Spain and Italy.

    5. Because it's a club one we'd like the software to be able to be used on more than one PC.

Essentially we're looking for a GPS that will tell us to turn right or left when we get to a junction, that lets us program in routes and lets us download routes eg the Tour of Flanders.

    Budget is up to £300.

I know it's more a roadie question, but roadie forums tend to be a bit too intense for me!
