As above, looking to buy a dremel for general DIY and tinkering. Is one tool or tool and accessory pack better value? Anything to avoid? No budget as such although probably won’t see enough use to justify top of the range money. Also not fussed about cordless particularly.

I got a Dremel, very similar to that Axminster one up there, with an extension attachment for £50 (admittedly, reduced) from B&Q.

If you don’t need the extension bit (I have never used mine), then they do the same Dremel but with less accessories for £40 and you can spend the difference buying accessories you know you need.

I got mine because of the extension. Got it hooked up over the workbench out of the way. Plus the extensions gives greater controll if you are doing fine detail stuff.
