Need to attach new Raceface 30T NW ring to new M785 XT cranks…10mm bolts would seem to work.
Black cranks with black ring so the ponce in me fancies some coloured ones but not essential.
Steel or alloy? Which ones get a resounding thumbs up and which ones to steer clear of? Does it matter?
Steel are probably stronger but I can’t be doing with a rusty ringbolt 😉

Oh, and can I get nice ones from LBS without paying double what I would for the same thing online?

IDIOT! Just realised the XT cranks will come with bolts which presumably will do the trick!?

    3 day bump.
I know it’s a very dull question but any pointers recommended.
The XT ones aren’t long enough so need to pull the trigger very soon for them to be here for weekend.
Oh – I think I want red or blue too 😉

If you want colour, that answers your questions about steel or alloy…

I know you want anodised but for me, stainless steel personally.
