  • Which 700c disc wheelset?

    Now I’m back on the bike I am on the lookout for a second set of wheels for my Croix De Fer so that I can run a set of slicks without faffing with tyres every few days. Don’t want to spend a fortune so say, up to £150. What is there?

    For that price you could build your own on xt hubs and any number of rims.

    Not sure about xt with good rims at that price 105 hubs cost me 60 +70 for open pro rims and 42 for sapim spokes built by a mate for beer .Probably nearer 200 quid .I wouldnt want to use a cheapo rim on xt hubs.Dt spokes would make it a lot more
