Had a trip to afan planned 14 and 15th August, but have just found out that 2 trails are closed and 2 have diversions in place, leaving only penhydd unaffected.
So where else is there within a few hours from the south coast that has good riding that will keep us occupied for 3 days and some half decent night life? A few of the group went to CyB earlier this year so that ones out of the equation.
Your suggestions please.
exmoor/ quantocks/ dartmoor would be my choice. not sure about the nightlife - but dunno where the party scene in afan is!!

Neath and Swansea. Some fun to be had there I can assure you.
What about south downs way? you can ride along there all the way from winchester to eastbourne and it is a great trail. You can stop of at B & Bs along the way....Again I am not sure about night life?
