Help me singletrack, my internet skills are weak.

Stripping down and building up a bike tonight but, the crank bolt I have is not the original and needs a 12mm Allen key to remove. I don’t own this tool.

What shop would sell it in the Halifax/Huddersfield area? I’ve looked but all the Allen/Hex key sets that come up don’t have a 12mm included.

I’ve found people selling them but all none local/take to long to post.

look at halfords – they’ll sell 12mm sockets for 1/2″ or 1/4″ drive ratchets.

Wot he said ^^^ £7.99 (their website being funny atm), or I imagine screwfix/machine mart or even B&Q might stock them

The 12mm keys are sometimes sold as oil drain plug sockets, that a how it was labelled when I got one

I think I saw some at Screwfix, the square drive sets, but it was at least a year back.

Will be 1/2 or 3/8 drive in that size.

Cheers all, will trundle down to Halfords. Socket set has been on my list of things to own for a while.

Andy, that would fit the bill but the above would get me more shiny stuff.
