Thinking of popping over to Cwmcarn and fancy doing the climb and freeride bit then taking the downhill back to car park.

Does anyone know where it starts and how to get to it after the freeride section? I've tried to find it before but not been successful.

follow XC trail until you get to the 90 degree left then up a short steep concrete slope

at the top of the slope follow the road UP the hill (wrong way – be careful!)

first fire road on your right after 10 mins or so – broken old bike or somesuch hanging on the corner

ride to end and you'll see the start ramp
