I used to buy CDs from play.com but that’s been gone for ages.

I’m not keen on spending all my money at Amazon but where else?

    Are HMV still alive?

/edit – yes I want physical CDs, no not vinyl.

    HMV are alive and well.

There are loads of good sellers on eBay too (for new and used).

Music magpie store online or their That’s Entertainment shops on the high street. Good mix of used and new stock

Amazon, HMV in Bath, although their selection isn’t that great, Fopp in Bristol if I’m in the City, or other shops, or direct from the artis’s site or gigs.
I like to buy at gigs because you know the artist is actually getting your money, and more often than not they’ll sign it for you as well, as Hayley Bonar did with the one I bought at her gig in Bristol last night.

Independent labels often sell their own stock, though they’re increasingly doing this through bandcamp and similar, it’s the best way to get the money to the people doing the work but the postage prices can be discouraging.
