    Hey,

I have had a pitch for a couple of years now and wondering when you should think about changing the bearings? There is no problem with the bike at the moment, but it was my first full sus so not sure about this info.

    Cheers

Grab the back end and try to wiggle it side to side. If it moves, change them, if not, leave them. Take the shock off and see if it swings through the motion smoothly. If it does, leave them, if not, replace them.

Pop the rear shock out and slowly put the rear end through its full travel by hand. If it's a smooth actuation then you should be good, if it's notchy/rough then it's time to think about replacing the bearings. That's the method i use anyway, you could also check the manufacturers lit for information, and Specialized do have a Q&A section on their site.

That makes total sense to me 🙂

Need to service the rear shock soon so I'll check then 🙂
