    Just lifted two off to paint behind as the plumber beat me to it with his fitting, sweet baby jeesus I’d thought stuff was getting lower quality and therfore lighter. 😯 and yes they were empty(ish)

    new rads have never been lighter.. they are so thin if you get anything over 1.5 meteres check that they are straight as they bow/bend very easily

    I can’t imagine that they are any heavier than the old cast iron ones.

    Finns between the 2 sides must add some weight. Makes up for the thinner material used in the body.

    I’m pleased that someone else takes radiators off to paint behind! I thought I was OCD – and I can’t stand any sign of paint on the brackets either! I know I should get out more.
