There is this billboard on the way home that is advertising new McD's brekkie wraps.
a - breakfast shouldn't come in a wrap, and
b - it is and for ever shall be known as a Hash Brown. Not a Rosti.
Let's hop they still turn the bags they come in translucent with oil though!

Probably at the same time that Courgettes became Zucchini, but sometime after baby marrows became Courgettes.
Is it the same thing though? Cos they still do a hash brown with a breakfast meal and it's still called a hash brown there
I think I'd prefer a Potato Rosti. At least I'd know what it was.

There was an article (in 'The Week' I think, so borrowed from elswhere) about the opposite, the 'britishisms' creeping into the 'American' language.
It could be worse, our's come from American Pop Culture, theirs come Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsey, Simon Cowel and Piers Morgan!
