Mate and I did a regular run up the A6 into the Peak District this morning – no more traffic than usual, quite a lot of roadies out and about, but I’ve never had as many drivers beep their horns, shout abuse and cut it too close when overtaking.

Didn’t matter if we were in single file or next to each other, “A” road or country road, just regular beeps and abuse all morning.

The first few just got our normal cheery wave and “Hello”, after a while we began to return their abusive gestures and by the end of the ride if any had had the balls to stop and discuss the situation I think I’d have lamped them one!

Mind you, my mate has just started shaving his legs – coincidence?

As i said before on another thread, get a small Muvi type camera and film them, any really bad ones recite their reg number and car driver details and it will be recorded as a soundtrack.

There are always angry drivers on the road. Just ignore and ride defensively.

Life is far to short to let it get to you.

(Though i do like projects idea)
