    BB5 has static pad adjuster, BB7 also has moving pad adjuster

    BB7 uses the Juicy pads.

    (nice for me, BB7 road, Juicy 5 and Juicy 7’s MTB)

    diff between static pad and moving pad adjusters??

    The cable brakes work by moving one pad only – so you have one moving pad and one static pad. It relies on flexing the disc so it contacts the static pad.

    on the 5s only the static pad has an adjuster, the moving pad is adjusted by cable tension

    On the 7s both pads have adjusters so simplifying set up

    I found 5s to be very fiddly and didn’t like them Others found the 7s to be fine
