  • What's disc rims are everyone using on your 29er touring bikes

    I’m trying to make my mind up on what 29er disc rims to use for the ogre wheel set build as I’m planning on building it up for touring with my tent. So what are you guys and girls using? And how you getting on with them?

    Archetype H Plus Sons on the Peregrine. Nice wheels, can’t recall how many eyelets I got in the end, would be for reasonably light weight touring..

    Haven’t used them with much weight but did incorporate quite a bit of decent off-road (including some heftily rough remote tracks) not a problem..

    I’ve got some Sun Infernos on a Disc Trucker and have just bought some [wider] 26″ ones for another bike. Early days, but they seem like a pretty sweet point on the price/weight/quality chart to me.
