I’m moving to drops on my Airnimal and hence I’ll be needing to sell the Maguras and get some V-brakes. I’ve had XTR’s previously but just wondered whether there was a ‘definitive’ best-of-breed set / make or anyone’s got any worthwhile recommendations born from experience? Avids? Tekros? Or am I best splashing the cash and picking up some more XTRs?

I’ve been running a set of XTRs for 10 years now – I think there’s lighter brakes out there, if that’s important but nothing that functions better IMHO.
