As title. Not really looking for tyre recommends, more ‘will I seriously regret not fitting SG casing tyres or equivalent’?

I’ve never felt the need for anything manlier than snakeskin Schwalbes in the UK if that helps…

I’ve been out to basquemtb a couple of times. Pretty sure that both times I was running usr black chilli rubber queens. Worked perfectly. Actually, not known anyone go with specific tyres.

I was out with basquemtb last year on the back country tour and would recommend a SG casing type of tyre, especially on the rear. I managed to pinch flat my rear tyre about four times. Was running a normal snakeskin schwalbe casing. There are also a lot of big thorns so tubeless is a good idea.

Just to clarify, I was running tubeless and pinch flatted the tyre itself.

Vincienup, you coming with us? What week? I can tell you how much uplift we are planning. You can get a lot of pinches as we do a lot of riding in the week and none of the trails are what you´d call smooth!

Dual ply/super gravity etc for real mountains and rocky terrain
