  • What type of socket wrench do I need for this bottom bracket tool?

I haven’t come across this before:

Seems to me, it either it needs some type of 6 sided socket wrench, or it is just driven by a 16 / 17mm hex bit.

    Any clues?

It is for a B.O.R. 30mm bottom bracket.

old thread says it’s a standard hex fitting but with the corners drilled.

That’ll be a PITA keeping it flush with the cups.

Will a 3/4″ drive not fit? Looks like it could.

When you’re using it to fit the BB cups it’ll wobble about a bit, won’t it? (It IS a HT2 bb cup fitting tool isn’t it?)

I imagine the other side of it is recessed so that the BB cup sits in it
