    i want some fairly light clinchers that don’t cost the earth about 250 ish iam thinkin of lacing the hubs from stock weinman dp 18 wheels with db spokes and a decent rim anybody done anything similar ?

    I had Surly hubs laced to Open pros on my fixed gear. Didn’t go offroad much but they seemed plenty strong enough if not the lightest.

    Goldtec track hubs are known for their reliability. London courier’s preferred hub by all accounts.
