Recently bought a road bike to get into it as well as my MTB

Been using MTB shoes with pedals…. Now fancy getting a second pair of shoes!!

Don’t really want to change pedals and clears so after either road shoes that take spds or touring shoes.

Any recommendations on the lower end as budget right as they are a second pair!!

    Cheers

Specialized do a set of touring shoes that are identical to one of their road shoes but with a mtb style cleat fitment and some tread.

It’s called the BG Sport Touring. You should find them sub-£50.

Any of the MT/CT Shimano’s are fine for me.

Currently have the older MT33’s I think, that I picked up for £30 from the lbs sale.
Mrs has Spesh Tahoe’s, which are equally as good.

Both comfy on and off the bike, but neither are waterproof, which can be a pain.

I quite like the look of the Giro republic cycling shoe, understated styling and not a velcro tab in sight.

White laces? That’ll work out well…..
