what do you have to do when the identification number on your bike frame is worn off and you didn't know the number previous to that

are you looking under the bottom bracket, was there a number there to begin with? i don't see how a number can "wear off"
Some frames don't have a frame number under the bottom bracket.

i dunno lol im not getting involved with it but ill tell him to chuck it or hand it in and say if u cant do anthing wiv it can i keep it or summit like that or you got any other ideas
