    Alright chaps,

Just wondering what size Trek Remedy, those that have them, ride?

I’m 5’11 and usually ride a large short travel full sus or a medium long travel full sus or hardtail.

I’ve been looking at the pre-2011 models, so from past experience it will be 17.5 virtual/16.5 actual… I think….

    Cheers

You will need 18.5/17.5 if your buying a 2012.I am 5″9 and ride a 17.5/16.5 012.Lovely bike they have changed the frame a fair bit from 011.

I’m a bit confused about the 2012 geometry, there are 2 types for each size… but they have very slightly different ETTs… whats going on there?

EDIT: Got it, 0.5 degree slacker with an angleset or possibly 5mm more on forks. I’d be a 17.5 in 2012 I reckon, going from what size my big bikes have been.

    I have a 2012 17.5 and I am 5’11”.

Fits me just fine, loads of room even with a short stem.

The remedy is a thing of beauty!

From the geoemtry it looks like the 17.5 Remedy is actually a little longer than the 17.5 Reign I used to ride…. so should be spot on.
