Getting one for work – not sure whether to get a sleeve in my normal pannier or get a laptop specific case.

What's recommended?

That would depend if it is a Laptop purchased by yourself, or provided by work.

You, laptop specific pannier/briefcase with an extra padded sleeve.
Work, Tesco's carrier bag and a bungie cord. 😉

I note the altura effort puts the case on the rack on an angle – does the Agu put in in Portrait – if you get my drift? Anything specifically good about the quorum?
