ive got a hid on my bars which i would like to supplement with a helmet mounted light.

dont want to spend much but would like mucho brightness.

ideally would like the dx light but with helmet mount.

do they do it?

if not can you give me some recommend helmet lights!!

I've been thinking exactly the same thing

Or go for a P7 torch from DX. Half the price, ok you may need to take a spare battery on a ride, but they're cheaper, simpler and more versatile.

Note that the mount is actually a headband and needs modification to make it work as a helmet mount. But at least the plate is there and just a bit of velcro and sewing to finish it off.

P7 801 torch from Deal Extreme, same power as my Hope HID but tiny, light weight and lasts about 2.5 hours. O, and there $14 each…

The five mode 801 is my choice of helmet light. CLICKY Forget the flashing and the SOS, the other three modes gives you more options and illumination time.

Tye wraps work ok to mount but now I use the "Double Hook and Loop Mount
For vented cycle helmets" from the dogcam site, Here towards bottom of page, £4.99
