In my garage i have a nice set of speed dial 7's, one cheapy speed dial, and one dia compe canti brake lever. i think both odd ones have had their other halves used in one-brake single speed hack bikes over the years, but I am not sure and it is making me confused…

Will the v levers work with the caliper brakes or do they pull too much? I'd rather not go an buy a pair of 90s canti levers for no good reason.

Thanks for all the comments on the xt disc brakes. i sold them in the end, but only after i had mastered the bleeding bleeding technique, i was determined in the end to get it right but then I couldn't stand the sight of them after causing so much stress!
