I worked at Horse Shoe Lights mine in Western Australia and we had 50 ton Haulpacs and they were huge, you can get 100 ton Haulpacs which must be staggering. Dangerous things to be around, thet could run over a pick up and not even notice.

If configured and rated/plated correctly, then I suspect most “big” units could do: Volvo FH16s, Scania R640, R730s etc.

We have had these people collect from us.They have some pretty big stuff and can move 100 tonnes,on one lorry

Looks like they have an 8 wheeled trailer that can move 200 tonnes gros

Would have thought that most trucks would be able to move that with the right trailer. However, even more impressive is the crane they used to lower the bridge onto the trailer, I think I know what I want for christmas…

I always thought the weight limit in the UK was 44 tonnes but it looks like with modern equipment it can be a lot more.

The weight limit is 44t in the uk on 6 axles, 40t on 5 axles. trucks running more than 44t gross weight have to display a STGO plate, these fall into cat 1, 2, 3 depending on the maximum weight to be carried.

Used to do service work in a lot of quarry’s & saw some big Cat units but not that big!!

If I have worked it out correctly that unit has a 106 litre engine 😀
