Got some new ‘zocchi 350s coming and I’ve read about poor lubrication from the factory in them so will be stripping and checking before use. I know the oil for the lowers is 7.5wt so I can mix up some 5 and 15 but what grease do people use? normal Teflon or lithium? Marzocchi USA seem to recommend Molykote 55 but I can’t find any for sale in the UK

Have been using Standec Easy Glide for fork and dropper post service and seems to work well.

I use Manitou Prep M purely because it’s cheaper than Slick Honey. No complaints.

+1 on Standec, just because I use their oils and get it from the local shop. Works well and people always comment how plush my forks are so I must be doing something right. I don’t think you will go wrong with the others either.

I use Stendec oil so I’ll probably go for that then. Cheers

Torco engine assembly fluid – works great and can get it much cheaper than specialist bike products if you know where to look and is supposedly the same stuff as the bike stuff..

Loctite super lube for me. It’s what’s in the grease gun for my Turner pivots.

Can I ask where you get it from and how much you pay? I was considering getting some for the lowers of my Maguras. Cheapest I’ve seen is about £8 online.
