Thinking of moving and rebuilding the current local MTB forum onto a different VM (running Debian)due to performance issues and whilst I’m doing that looking at different forum software.

Currently it’s on an old-ish version of IPB should I look at the latest and greatest of that or should I consider Xenforo, vBulletin etc..

Features wise usual forum features nothing fancy along with the ability to create galleries for rides/events etc..

What do/have people used at an admin/install level good/bad etc?
