    Competition – IIRC they're slightly lighter/tweaker for more racy performance. Can't say that I ever noticed any difference between C and non-C ones though…

    means they were the fancy'er versions with some Titanium bolts in and a silver cronw (i think). The rigid c-type had ti stubs to hold the carbon lower legs on so were marginally lighter than normal ones.

    As well as being a bit lighter some of the C-Type forks came with less rake to give quicker handling.
