I have shimano brakes and the shifters bolt on to the same clamp. If I swap for SRAM brakes, is there a separate clamp I can use to keep the shifters?

Any particular reason for swapping to SRAM?

If you go for Sram brakes you’ll need one of these:

I have some Sram Guids and they are the best brakes I’ve had so far.

Not since the Trails came out in 2013. Guides are even better, stonking reviews, but people will still choose to be a moron about it.

You’ll need to have a look for the covers, I don’t think you can buy them separately – but KCNC do some for the older style: http://clee-cycles.co.uk/esite/P20102/product

Indeed, was always an Avid fan once used to bleeding (which really is easy). I’ve ridden XTs and now have a set of Deores but Guides feel so much better and more powerful so swapping the deores out. If I can get shifter brackets.

Problems solvers (QBP) from Ison distribution do all sorts of odd mounts and adapters
But not looked at the range for a while
