The bike is guaranteed for another six months, until 20 January 2017, so there is nothing to worry about in the event of a fault because if something would have happened to the bike shop where you purchased removes the defect free of charge.

Not used – but I spent £400 in tat for it.

Is there an equivalent of RSPCA rescue centres for bikes? If so, this should have been taken in so it could be re-homed.
