  • What Cassete Lockring Tool ? One Problem Hub

    I have an Icetoolz lockring tool that works with all my current road and MTB hubs . Mavic and Cosine .

    A new set of road wheels has a much thicker axle end on the drive side rear hub. My tool won’t clear the axle end and engage with the lockring as it is too thick for the gap.

    What other brand of tool is thinner and get around this problem ?

    I use 2 with a similar issue to yours. Its a Halfords el cheapo Bikehut one and the other I got in a Bike set form Aldi.

    Sorry for delay Pete. Yes that’s the one. Obviously I can’t guarantee it will work for you. I’m guessing you’ve sorted it now though!
