Treated myself to a pair of Lowa leather mountain boots for Xmas. The instructions say that they should be polished, but with specialist polish, not the normal supermarket variety. Any recommendations please?

Altberg Leder-Gris is excellent for leather boots as is the Nikwax stuff

If you ring them they'll tell you the best stuff to use but I use normal kiwi polish on top of a goretex sealer. Every few months I strip it back and re-apply the goretex sealer.
I spend a lot of time standing around on damp ranges with feet deep in water and it's amazing how good the Lowas are. Enjoy!
