I’ve never been to Brechfa. Will be visiting in the near future. Probably a day trip to do a lap of red & black joined together.

Will I die if I take a hardtail?

Or should I take the full sus? As I’m concerned that 180mm is too much suspension for Brechfa.

Either way, what tyres? I’m currently on ITS system 5s or conti vert pros, so I assume these will need changing.

Lastly, what fried potato snacks for mid trail replenishment?

Hardtail best, quite a bit of climbing on the raven.just make make sure you use tyres that are good at shedding mud and drop a couple of psi in your front for extra bit of grip.
