Not which one do you want to own, but which do you most want to sling a leg over?

Not sure myself. Maybe one of them curly-wurly Jones bikes, or the ti456.

I would have said a proper DH bike previously, but I’ll have mine built up and ready to ride by next weekend anyway.

Another vote for the Surly Pugsley – I love the look of that bike and it’s sufficiently “different” to normal bikes to make it interesting.

Can you get one on the Bike2Work scheme? 🙂

Orange Blood – just looks like it’d be fun to ride the tits off it down something fast and loose.

Had a go on a pugsley – it’s not really that fun tbh – kind of novel for 30 seconds…

Well I have no budget for a new bike, but I wouldnt mind a ride on a Lapierre Zesty. It looks like a bike that can handle infinitely more than i could ever ride on it, and may be a bit much for XC, but looks fab and I’d be interested to see how it rides. Orange bikes always look good too, so yeah, wouldn’t mind riding one of them for a day too (a full susser).

RichC, Cwm Carn is a fairly regular choice for demo days. They ran an Iron Horse demo last year in conjunction with the uplift service which might have been fun – I bet the queue for the Sundays was a bit of a scrum though.

There is a regular demo series being held there this year but none of the bikes are particularly grrr.

I’d like a go on any of the Chunk 666 bikes, particularly the “Jalapeno Sunrise” – so called “because of the burning sensation it induces in all who ride it”.

An Ibis Mojo, or maybe that Scott Genius that weighs 3 ounces. I’d never but either, but it’d be nice to see whether the fuss is justified. Saying that, I had a go on a Hummer a couple of weeks ago and really wish I hadn’t now ‘cos I want one.
