Any recommended products / good ideas for making your own? Have considered taking the swing arm (Orange 5) and forks off and just using a large suitcase (which I need to buy anyway). Lot of effort at each end though. Hiring something could be an option of course. I’m Sydney based.

    TIA

I use a soft bag for transporting the Heckler, wrapping it in a duvet

Though if i had to buy one again i would go for the new evoc bags, they look great

EVOC costs a ferking fortune though and IMO not ~£200 better than a Neil Pryde and all of it’s shop copies, CRC, Leisurelakes, the dhb one above etc..etc.

Been using a Neil Pryde for the past 7 years on planes and it’s still it great condition.

keep an eye on the weight as some of the bags/ boxes are so heavy you’d never get a bike in and be underweight limit.

i’ve used wiggle bike bags in the past with a bike box in them to reinforce it and the whole bike wrapped in pipe lagging.

    it works.

anything will do the job just make sure you space the rear end with an old hub and take the forks/bar off plus pedals and rotors.

Its generally crushing that damages them. Also stuff a box in a lightweight bag for extra protection too
