What adhesive should I use on the inside of my helmet to re-attach the little velcro dots to the polystrene?
Am I right in thinking many glues would "melt" the polystrene?

    Cheers Anton

I have the same problem – especially in the warm weather…

Gonna try a 2-part epoxy adhesive as its always cheap in the local 99p shops…

It's the solvent in the glue that melts the polystyrene. You may be ok with 2 part epoxies as they are often solvent free. I'm "fairly" certain araldite won't react with the polystyrene.

I used a gluegun to reattach the polystyrene to the carbon on my full face TLD, that was at least a year ago and its still together.

    Could use d/sided tape?

Thinking sweat might weaken the glue.

    Email the manufacturer.

Epoxy should work though it might be overkill. You can get cyanoacrylate (super glue) that's the designed for polystyrene. It's sold as "foam safe". The regular stuff may eat it.

I used double sided tape, it works well.
