He's a bit too young for a 5 spot so which are the best?

The Likeabike and zoooms look pretty good. Any recommendations?

    Ta in advance.

At 2 or 3 get an Isla bike Rothan, with no pedals, he'll be scooting down hills with his feet in the air in no time. Our little guy upgraded to a Cnoc 14 for his third birthday, and was pedalling in weeks

Have a look at islabikes. We never had a balance bike from them but have had quite a few of their other bigger bikes and they have all been excellent. With the added bonus that they have a great resale value when they have grown out of them.

Ridgeback Scoot, very nice balance bike and had a brake.

+1 for the Islabikes Rothan. Cover it in helitape and you'll get back most of what you pay for it when it's outgrown. I've seen really scratched ones go for £75.
