mates thinking of a long travel hardtail, needs to take up to 160mm forks and be strong. He has the Cotic Bfe and a NS Surge in mind but what other frames are out there? needs to be able to do all day rides and take a good ragging, list away so I can make his decision harder 😉

Ragley Blue Pig. Ideal with 140 forks, quite happy with 160

2nd shout for Dialled Bike frame (Alpine or PA).
Pa takes forks up to 140mm.
    Alpine good up to 160mm.
Both outstanding to ride and total bargin price.

    DMR DMR DMR!!!!

Cheap as a cheap thing, bike snob kryptonite!

Trailstar should take such a fork I reckon, Exalt definitely would but is obviously heavier, slacker and more towards the bargain gnarr end of things, if your mate is considering the Surge the Exalt should be on the same list…

Otherwise the usual suspects, Cotic, Dialled, Evil, .243, on-one… Blah Blah
