    2 pinch bolts on the crank arm

    My rather well worn Truvative cranks did that – mine were an odd ‘spiralling’ fracture and missing piece from where the crank bolt tightened. For mine it must have been fatigue, as they were 6 years old.

    Were the pinch bolts tightened to the specified torque?
