A month or so ago I snapped the headphone jack on my Bose QC buds (bloody awkward plane headphone socket!) but after some YouTube research, a £2.50 replacement jack and a soldering iron they are back!! Quite chuffed with myself as I’m quite cack handed really! 🙂

Any recent jobs that you wish to share on a Sunday night?

After clearing the back garden of concrete in the last few days, using mainly a pick-axe and an SDS+ drill and transporting it to the tip with the car, thus avoiding skip costs, I’ve realised yesterday that the whole garden is so pissed, I’ve got to remove enough ground to justify 2 skips.

..and I need to replace a relatively significant amount of drainage.

…and then discovered a gas pipe about 100mm below surface, which was meant actually at the place that was meant to be the final level of paving after fall, so f*** knows what I’m going to do about that.

I got very drunk last night and spent today hungover, watching DIY SOS wondering whether a hurty on my finger would qualify as needing the support of Nick Knowles and a crew of local tradesmen.
